Javacard disconnects

I ordered some J3R180 Java smart cards and received the necessary keys with it. I can load the applet and save a key to it, but the card disconnects within 10 seconds. So after entering the pin it disconnects after a couple a seconds, asking for the pin again. Not enough time to enter a name for example. Any ideas what this could be? The original card does not show this behaviour.

Could you provide more details:

• Where did you get the card?
• What is the OS of the computer you use?
• What card reader you use (contact/contactless + model)
• which software application do you use?
• Any logs available? (running Seedkeeper-tool in command line using -v may provide more verbose logs)
