NetMJ

NetMJ ("Net Mage") is location-driven, semantic groupware, intended to simulate a community of peoples' capacity and intentions for movement (travel/mobility) and interlink them in order to automatically discover optimal, safe and rewarding routes and/or opportunities – essentially suggesting to its participants the best paths, both physically (occupationally/motor-sensorally) and socially (interactively/textually/verbally), toward realizing the desired futures they have described.

Beginning with our conception of the "phenomenological understanding of a place as a distinctive coming together in space"(J. Agnew and D. Livingstone (eds.) Handbook of Geographical Knowledge. London: Sage, 2011), we observe:

When people *move*, regardless of
whether that motion is physical,
economical or psychological,
places *change*.

Why do things happen to the people that they happen to?

If we introduce a conception (birth) of the "phenomenological understanding of a Human Agent as a distinctive coming together of Life forms sharing functional mobility in space-time," then we observe:

When Life *moves*, regardless of whether
that motion is positional, virtual or
chronological, Humans experience *change*
and Human experience changes.

“Things happen” to people due to “where” they are in cognitive-emotional (neuro-dimensional) space-time and the coincidental energetic expressions present, both perceived and subliminal; "coincidental" in this context meaning a co-incidence in space, time and psycho-socio-economic history (rather than random or lacking in causal significance). Energetic expressions include the ways in which individuals choose to consume, exert and preserve energy and the societal structures that do the same, as well as the return on investment (EROI) of such exertions spanning the range between the individual and structural levels.

NetMJ is a tool for describing the current condition of one's health/life/position (is) and desires for potential future conditions and movements (will be) as linked data relationships. A semantic description of a health/location condition can be considered to consist of a set of declarative statements (self-evaluations) representing one's coordinates with respect to both a psychological/physiological potential (what) and an exogenous/geospatial environment (where), along with all available modes of state alteration and/or transportation (how), as well as cognitive motivations which concern or interest one (why).

To describe the current condition of one's health/life/position, it is essential to recognize the vital systems of one’s own living organism and to observe (journal) the ways in which those systems relate to the environment (media) in which they are situated.

NetMJ realizes one’s goals based on their desires and translates them into tangible outcomes in one’s own network. The system can then connect your descriptions to others - these are analogous to hyperlinks. Links are useful because they suggest ways to achieve the implied desired state of something - whether you need to obtain something, whether you have something to distribute, whether you want to participate in something, whether you want others to participate in something, whether you want someone to donate something to you for free, etc...

Link the current and desired states
of real and imaginary concepts -
including people, environments,
objects, processes, knowledge, or time.

NetMJ is a system for describing states of self via conditions of the body, objects, places, times, thoughts, etc.:

Create descriptions of reality that
consist of data about the state in
which someone presently “is” AND
statements about the desired or
anticipated state in which that someone
“will be” (usually involving ranges of
acceptable indeterminate values).

Using these two categories of statements ("is" and "will be"), the system can link any relevant collection of states and potential states according to a presence of mutually satisfying semantic conditions, like a lock-and-key, or receptor site on a cell:

Suggest links (representing possibilities
such as transactions or assignments),
ranked according to the strength of
their correlation.

A general-purpose semantic-network computer system simulates “described experience” and discovers “possible experiences” to function as a tool for analyzing and optimizing certain qualities of a community's existence and for facilitating the utilization of all available resources to meet all immediate needs (genesis of wealth).

An Agent (i.e. a human) is represented by a semantic entity which participates in interactive processes that constitute awareness of and potential to operate upon arbitrary subsets of simulation content. Choice and configuration of interaction modalities may be customized according to a particular situation or adjusted to compensate for occupational, sensory, kinesthetic, or cognitive disadvantages.

A Network is a community-managed collection of services in the environment to which Agents can socially connect, either physically or remotely. Services can communicate with other services in a P2P network.
