I feel like it would be nice to have screenshots of the program in the readme, so users get an immediate idea of what the program is like. I propose doing this for the 1.0.0, since by then the design and features should be (mostly) finalized.

We could also possibly add some tags like these:

I don't think these badges are essential or useful to add, but I don't see a problem with them either. Feel free to add them if you really want to.
