Yo OvalQuilter, in a response to Spotifys recent pricing changes and abandonment of Car Thing, I've started using foobar2000 with my media and have set up a synced lyrics component that got me thinking- it uses MusixMatch to grab and sync the lyrics, so theoretically a component could be made to use these lyrics and send them to my discord status, right? I was hoping to get in contact with you over something like Discord to see how a script like this could be achieved, if that was alright

Hello!

it uses MusixMatch to grab and sync the lyrics, so theoretically a component could be made to use these lyrics and send them to my discord status, right?

Yes, but the caveat is that the MusixMatch free version has limits like 2k requests per day, it shows only 30% of lyrics, and lyrics are not synced.

I've checked that plugin, and it uses different websites to get lyrics, not only MusixMatch. I'll look at them.

I was hoping to get in contact with you over something like Discord to see how a script like this could be achieved, if that was alright

IF those websites will work, and I can get synced lyrics, I'll remake the script to work with them. _dalby_ is my Discord if you want to talk more about it.
