Importing models from EcoBase

Is there already code for importing a model from EcoBase? If not, are there any fundamental difficulties that could arise that you are aware of, like incompatibilities between EwE and RPath?

Unfortunately there is not code for importing a model from EcoBase. I attempted awhile ago to make code to pull in EwE models but it proved to be a moving target. There have been some discussions between the various versions of Ecopath to make a standard transfer format but nothing has come of it yet.
