Documentation Issue

In the "File storage and performance across file systems" section, the paths given to the Linux and Windows directories are shown a little confusingly:

  • The Linux home directory path is given only in a Windows-style format
  • The Windows home directory path is given first in Unix-style, then Windows-style format

In neither case is it stated which format is which.

The difference is clear to those who are already familiar with the two ways of expressing the filepaths, but this docs page is probably aimed at users who haven't encountered this concept before.

Suggested Improvements

  1. Provide the Unix-style filepath for the Linux home directory
  2. Explain/highlight the difference between the Windows and Linux/Unix filepath formats when providing both. This is done below for the Windows home directory, but the example could include the Linux home directory too, and perhaps even be expanded into its own section.
