Feature: Proctoring Services support?

Hi Sander, Andy,

AFAICT the library does not support Proctoring Services (July 2019) yet. Is that correct? And if so, is that something you or someone else has been considering? Do you expect the industry to embrace it?

Hello Jeroen,

Congratulations on the new job! I work for IMS now, but not in the LTI area. IMS holds (almost) monthly LTI Roundtables. I don't know for certain, but I suspect the proctoring spec has come up a few times.

@ztzsws1 I firmly believe a PR would be welcomed. May I ask what drives your interest in Proctoring Services support?

@jeroenhabets Yes, agree with you. Our product is lockdown exam tool(include proctoring feature), so I want integration with popular LMSs in the market, like BB\D2L. As I know, only BB supported proctoring service.

@ztzsws1 uptake has been too slow at Proctoring providers for our company. Though adding support should be relatively easy to add to this library with all of the (LTI/OIDC) groundwork already in place...

IMHO the plan here could be:

• Users can express interest here including why (their business driver).
• If anyone wants to create a PR: go for it! (Don't forget to add tests)
• For others like me, we only plan to support it after the standard has been more embraced (in my case by Proctoring providers). If you learn of a major LMS or proctoring provider adding support not listed here that would be good to share here.
