Anti CSDN License (ACSL) Version 1.2

Preamble

This license is established to govern the use, reproduction, and distribution of any software project or code (hereinafter referred to as "Project") that includes a notice by the copyright holder(s) or another authorized party indicating that the said Project may be distributed under the terms of the Anti CSDN License. This License is specifically designed to restrict Beijing Chuangxin Lezhi Network Technology Co., Ltd. (北京创新乐知网络技术有限公司, operating under the name "CSDN") and any of its subsidiaries or affiliated websites (e.g., gitcode.net) from using the Project without adhering to the specified conditions herein.

1. Definitions

  • "License" refers to the terms and conditions for use, reproduction, and distribution as outlined in this document.
  • "Contributor" means Licensor and any individual or Legal Entity on behalf of whom a Contribution has been received by Licensor and subsequently incorporated within the Project.
  • "Project" refers to the copyrightable work licensed under this License.
  • "Use" encompasses any application or employment of the Project.

2. Grant of Copyright License

Subject to the terms and conditions of this License, each Contributor hereby grants to you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to use, reproduce, modify, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute the Project and such derivative works in source code or object code form.

3. Specific Prohibition to Beijing Chuangxin Lezhi Network Technology Co., Ltd.

Notwithstanding the above grants:

  • Beijing Chuangxin Lezhi Network Technology Co., Ltd. (北京创新乐知网络技术有限公司, hereinafter referred to as "CSDN") and its subsidiaries, affiliates, and any entity directly or indirectly controlled by CSDN, including but not limited to websites such as gitcode.net, are expressly prohibited from using, copying, modifying, merging, publishing, distributing, sublicensing, and/or selling copies of the Project, and from permitting others to do so, without paying an authorization fee equivalent to 5% of the company's total annual revenue to the original copyright holder of the Project.
  • Such authorization fee is due and payable within thirty (30) days of any such use, copying, modification, publication, distribution, or sublicensing by CSDN or its affiliates.

4. Redistribution

You may reproduce and distribute copies of the Project or derivative works thereof in any medium, with or without modifications, and in Source or Object form, provided that you meet the following conditions:

  • You must give any other recipients of the Project or derivative works a copy of this License; and
  • You must cause any modified files to carry prominent notices stating that you changed the files; and
  • You must retain, in the Source form of any derivative works that you distribute, all copyright, patent, trademark, and attribution notices from the Source form of the Project, excluding those notices that do not pertain to any part of the derivative works.

5. Disclaimer of Warranty

In no event and under no legal theory, whether in tort (including negligence), contract, or otherwise, unless required by applicable law (such as deliberate and grossly negligent acts) or agreed to in writing, shall any Contributor be liable to you for damages, including any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages of any character arising as a result of this License or out of the use or inability to use the Project (including but not limited to damages for loss of goodwill, work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all other commercial damages or losses), even if such Contributor has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Compatibility with Other Licenses

This License applies only to the extent that it does not conflict with other licenses you may have agreed to or the terms of other licenses that may apply to the Project. In the event of a conflict between the terms of this License and any other license, the terms of this License shall prevail with respect to the use, copying, modification, and distribution of the Project by CSDN and its affiliates. For all other entities, the terms of the Project's other licenses may apply.

8. Accepting Warranty or Additional Liability

While redistributing the Project or derivative works thereof, you may choose to offer, and charge a fee for, acceptance of support, warranty, indemnity, or other liability obligations and/or rights consistent with this License. However, in accepting such obligations, you may act only on your own behalf and on your sole responsibility, not on behalf of any other Contributor, and only if you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold each Contributor harmless for any liability incurred by, or claims asserted against, such Contributor by reason of your accepting any such warranty or additional liability.
