JabRef version

Latest development branch build (please note build date below)

Operating system

GNU / Linux

Details on version and operating system

Linux localhost.localdomain 5.19.12-200.fc36.x86_64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Wed Sep 28 17:11:05 UTC 2022 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Checked with the latest development build

  • I made a backup of my libraries before testing the latest development version.
  • I have tested the latest development version and the problem persists

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

  1. In the "General" tab, add an attachment file.
  2. move and rename the attachment file by right clicking
  3. When moving the mouse on the attachment file, it still shows the orignal file name and pathway although it is in the desired directory and renamed.
