Feedback from the users of potku:

There seems to be some problems if the order of E and ToF ADC values in event storage files is
reversed and the ToF is inverted:

  • "axis invert and transpose" feature in Potku is not working properly.
The 2D display works great but the energy
    histograms don't.

  • Based on .cut files, it seems that the Potku cut function works still on
    the non-transposed data.

  • Also the automatic edge fitting in the energy calibration procedure does not work if ToF spectra are
inverted (i.e. when surface edges are "to the right").

Problem can be solved by formatting input data to exactly match the Jyväskylä structure. Nevertheless this might cause troubles for other users.

The order of data columns is probably fixed. The axis transpose and invert -features are probably limited to plotting. The order of data columns should be defined when (or before) data is loaded in.
