Can we create any kind of test to ensure all .shp files are working properly? #17

The idea is simple, when someone upload a new .shp file, let's run simple checks to ensure the file can be

What would I search for?

  • Typo errors and forbidden caracters
  • CRS not defined
  • Associated files in the same repository (e.g. .prj, etc)

Two options to be investigated:

  1. Unit tests by pytest
  2. Github Workflows

It's more about a question than a feature request itself
