Android - No notifications are received when app is in the background

Expected Result:

Notification is received even when the app is in the background.

Actual Result:

No notification displayed when receiving new messages.

Action Performed:

1. Download the latest android build and log in.
2. Send the app to background
3. From another device, send a message to the account logged in the android device
