The iOS app has been repeatedly rejected by Apple's app store for having insufficient functionality. That's a fair assessment, given that the core of the app is one giant toggle-button for static noise.

If we want to get on Apple's App Store then we need more core functionality. The tip submission / download system was not enough. One possibility is a slider that allows the user to calibrate the static to cover deeper or higher-pitched voices. Another option is some kind of "force feedback", where the static increases or decreases in intensity depending on whether the device can pick up voices or not.
