Warning

We've identified a bug that can crash applications that run .NET Framework and .NET Core in the same process, which can typically happen when using IIS. If you're using .NET Core in IIS, make absolutely sure ".NET CLR Version" is set to "No Managed Code" in the application pool settings. If in doubt, please avoid 3.4.0 and instead use 3.3.1 for the time being. We are working on a hotfix for this ASAP.
