Upgrading to the latest version

Depending on what operating system you're running on, Amiberry can be upgraded to the latest version by following these steps:

Debian / Ubuntu

Install the .DEB package from Releases, using sudo apt install ./amiberry_<version>.deb (replace with actual filename)

Double-click on the DMG image to mount it, then drag the Amiberry application into your Applications folder as usual.

These usually provide their own way of upgrading Amiberry to newer versions, taking care of any customizations they have.
