  1. Build a window layout with multiple columns.
  2. (balance-windows)
  3. See that windows and columns are balanced.
  4. Switch to another perspective.
  5. Switch back.
  6. (balance-windows)

At this point the windows on the left side will be about twice as wide as the rest.
