In some countries phone numbers cannot be purchased directly through Azure Portal. Customers who are interested in a special order (ex. acquiring large quantities of numbers or specific area codes) or if the number acquisition needs to be completed manually, can do so by following the process below. For a new number order, you will need to work through the following steps:

To port your existing telephone numbers over to Azure Communication Services, you need to download the corresponding form below and submit it over to our Service Desk team. The team will then guide you through the process and keep you updated on the port-in order progress.

In some countries, releasing a telephone number needs to be done through our Service Desk team. To release the telephone number in these countries, follow the steps below:
