Prevent preview image extending out of frame

In modifying the preview image from its old behavior of x and y scaling to fit window size but not mainiting aspect ratio, to the new format where it maintains aspect ratio and scales in x to fit window size, the code needs to be modified to prevent the y height of images exceding the container. Solutions are already in testing.
