Our high-level metrics page at https://api.data.gov/metrics/ attempts to exclude most of the internal monitoring traffic we see so the numbers more accurately reflect real API traffic. However, we've been including quite a bit of monitoring traffic since the Fall that isn't handled by the existing rules. We need to update these charts to properly remove this additional traffic from our totals so the numbers better reflect reality.

Resolved by NREL/api-umbrella@0a324c6 and https://github.com/18F/api.data.gov-ops/commit/261916b2553e6ec01c85e304c56e46b353f0fee6

We're now excluding the extra monitoring traffic from OpenFDA, so our totals should be much more realistic again. For general reference of the impact, our previous overall total being reported was 637 million and it is now down to 406 million.
