From e9b16cc2c537fc525a438b15016d4d066baf6645 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Martin Nordholts Date: Tue, 12 Dec 2023 13:57:12 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] rustc_passes: Enforce `rustc::potential_query_instability` lint Stop allowing `rustc::potential_query_instability` in all of `rustc_passes` and instead allow it on a case-by-case basis if it is safe. In this case, all instances of the lint are safe to allow. --- compiler/rustc_passes/src/diagnostic_items.rs | 3 +++ compiler/rustc_passes/src/hir_stats.rs | 4 ++++ compiler/rustc_passes/src/lib.rs | 1 - compiler/rustc_passes/src/stability.rs | 3 +++ 4 files changed, 10 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/compiler/rustc_passes/src/diagnostic_items.rs b/compiler/rustc_passes/src/diagnostic_items.rs index d8b9f4fae87fe..5f767c9acaaa8 100644 --- a/compiler/rustc_passes/src/diagnostic_items.rs +++ b/compiler/rustc_passes/src/diagnostic_items.rs @@ -83,6 +83,9 @@ fn all_diagnostic_items(tcx: TyCtxt<'_>, (): ()) -> DiagnosticItems { // Collect diagnostic items in other crates. for &cnum in tcx.crates(()).iter().chain(std::iter::once(&LOCAL_CRATE)) { + // We are collecting many DiagnosticItems hash maps into one + // DiagnosticItems hash map.
