Plural automatically upgrades your applications to the latest version when available.
Our team spends time testing and validating an application's latest version. This manifests as a PR that we create in the plural-artifacts GitHub repository, such as this one.
Once that PR is merged, the upgrade will get automatically pushed to your cluster. If you wish to pin to your current version, you can manually disable the upgrading workflow.
