show number of files in a folder

it would be nice to see the number of files in a folder, maybe next to the size.

can i set the tag Enhancement or only the core team?
there is no guideline for feature requests so i hope you get the idea of what i want.

Hey @davidak, did you check out #993 yet? I think showing the number in the list next to the size will clutter up the interface a bit and not really have that much value, but showing it inside the folder as the last entry will be better. Let’s continue the discussion over in #993.

The number could be shown above "Größe" in the specific folder left to "Gelöschte Dateien" and out of the folder in the bubble by hovering the size?

we can discuss this with others if this is helpful or a feature that isn't needed.

The issue is related in that it shows you the number of elements in a folder. Your suggestion would show it at the level above, and #993 is about showing it inside the folder (I mistyped 933 in the previous post, sorry).

The screenshot you mention is very similar to what I mean in #993. If you have iOS you can see it when you scroll down in the Photos app. On the bottom of everything you will see something like »293 Photos«.
