Move/copy file or directory functionality in OC9?

Hi all,

I'm a proud user of OC9 (recently updated from OC7) and really like the new features.
In OC7 I used a community plugin which allowed moving files or directories around. The plugin is not suitable for OC9 and I don't want to use any 3-d party plugins anymore, because I consider them to be dirty hacks, which usually break something while improve something. I haven't found this obvious feature around in the new manuals for OC9. Is there some technical stopper to implement this?

It says "move" but could also be done for "copy".
