Steps to reproduce:
#15224 this seems to be related, but I can't find any group.
Nextcloud 21.0.4 Autocomplete for LDAP Groups 1.11.0 OpenID Connect Login 2.0.4 (to login, but using ldap as data source)
I am accessing LDAP as readonly.
This should be the apps that could have something to do with it. But I don't think Open ID Connect has anything to do with it.
The following settings are set:
Hope somebody has an idea, why, maybe because of readonly LDAP, as they are grayed out for the local admin to add or remove anyone?

Problem solved, I had to go under advanced -> Directory Settings -> Group Search Attributes and I put "cn" in it
