Please have a look at issue #11730 - it seems to be overlooked. I and other can't share documents with local user to edit

GitMate.io thinks possibly related issues are #11730 (Can't toggle "Can edit" checkbox while sharing file in web interface), #6374 (Share: Cannot check the checkbox "Can Edit" ), #6838 (Shared calendar is not editable despite checked "can edit" checkbox), #8266 (NC13, Cannot edit Files with Collabora in shared folders), and #2904 (Nexcloud web file sharing problem).
