global_ALE/z experiment is not giving the same answers with and without -openmp #290

global_ALE/z is not giving the same answers when compiled with -openmp (as when not compiled with openmp).
Whereas global_ALE/layer gives consistent answers.

I think I have figured out why and will make a pull request later. It has to do with some $OMP "private" variables that should have been "shared".

This is no longer an issue as of dev/gfdl/2017.10.05, the answers are the same with and without openmp threads.
