Proposal for a new icon for zuluCrypt

I’ve got an idea for a new icon for the zuluCrypt project. The goal of this proposal is to improve the aesthetics of the current icon implementation and help users recognize the application at a glance. I’ve designed the new icon using Figma and can provide/share the file in different formats like SVG, PNG, 64x64, 128 x 128px, favicon etc. The font I’ve used is Source Sans Pro, which is also an open-source font.

I reckon this new icon will make the user experience a bit more spiffing and make it easier for users to quickly identify the app. Also, just a preview of the new icon on Flathub store repository. We can also apply the same elements and expand the application (zuluMount, zuluPlay etc).

By the way, just a bit about myself. I'm a UX/UI designer living in the UK and working for the sports betting industry. I've been using zuluCrypt inside Whonix for a while and I really appreciate the project. I'd love to collaborate help out with the design and usability. I have some knowledge of design systems on Figma / Sketch, I also can handle banners/print and basic HTML/CSS. Please let me know if I can help the project, I can create some proposal to improve the website, UI screens and so on.

Regarding the new icon, color black is often associated with strength, power, and sophistication. In the context of cryptography and security, I belive that the black represent protection and confidentiality that encryption provides. In Zulu culture, black is a color of spiritual significance and also can represent regeneration and unity. The use of yellow means optimism and hope that comes with secure encryption.

How does that icon looked scaled down into a taskbar/notification bar icon? When running, the ZC icon is displayed in the notification area, so it is very easy to see it now because the Z and C characters are large.
