Bug Report

Capacitor Version

npx cap doctor output:

Installed Dependencies:

  @capacitor/cli 1.5.0

  @capacitor/core 1.5.0

  @capacitor/ios 1.5.0

  @capacitor/android 1.5.0

Affected Platform(s)

  • Android (not tested)
  • iOS
  • Electron
  • Web

Current Behavior

Trying pasting an image with Clipboard type set to "string", the promise will not resolve (nor reject).

Expected Behavior

The returned promises to resolve with value : {value: ""} (or to reject with an error).

Sample Code or Sample Application Repo

      const str = await Clipboard.read({
        type: 'string',
      }).catch(e => {
        console.error('error while pasting : ', e)
      })

Reproduction Steps

1- Copy an image from the camera roll.
2- Use sample code above.
