Currently there is no way to sort alerts by name in the management UI view. A mockup of this is shown in #58493

Sorting by name can provide a stable ordering on a full list or filtered subset of alerts - a stable order is particularly useful when you want to watch a list of alerts for status changes over time, you don't want them moving around when status changes ( sorting by status / last fired is the other proposed sort option as part of #51099 )

Agreed, this will become easier to implement once #60506 merges. I was about to go a step further and allow users to sort as well but came across a few issues that I decided to defer.
