During testing (on a M1 Macbook), an error was thrown when loading rasterio, namely:

/opt/homebrew/opt/gdal/lib/libgdal.30.dylib' (no such file).

However, the .31. file existed at this path so was copied and renamed to .30..

This may not be a recommended good fix, but could be useful for any user that encounters a similar issue.
