Versions 0.22.0 and newer of the monaco-editor contain a JavaScript file larger than 4MB, which causes the Firefox add-on store to reject the update:

Unless we change the way we ship the monaco-editor library, this means that we'll have to stick with version 0.20.0 for now. We should not update to version 0.21.x, as it has the following bug: microsoft/monaco-editor#2178
