mapbox/mapbox-gl-js#5775 will expose hasImage which we can use to prevent from adding an image again when updating the style of the map

Mapbox-gl v0.43 is out, waiting for the type definitions to be updated before working on the fix, cf: DefinitelyTyped/DefinitelyTyped#22544
