Minecraft 1.16.5 "Multiplayer" button grayed out when using offline account #1487
Comments
I did not mention that this issue does not happen on other launchers that can run offline accounts, I can confirm that as i tested and it works correctly. |
How to fix multiplayer to enabled? |
wait for devs to reply to here and wait for fix |
Can confirm. A temporary workaround is to disable your internet before launching (can be re-enabled after title screen loads). Also when trying to /kick yourself from singleplayer (to bypass button and join multiplayer), a server can be joined, but chat is blocked. Internet disabling allows chat to work fine too. |
Can confirm as well. This was not happening with my Mojang account. Last launched 1.16 with my Mojang account around three days ago. I just migrated and this happens now. Edit: this issue is not present in 1.15.2, 1.17.1, 1.18.2, 1.19.2, or 1.20.1. |
Can also confirm this... |

Description of bug
When you try run 1.16.5 version of MC using premium account, it works fine.
However if you try running the same version, no matter the circumstances (if you have some resourcepack loaded, optifine or else) it won't let you click the "Multiplayer" and "Minecraft Realms" buttons.
Steps to reproduce
Suspected cause
Sine recent changes related to Microsoft migrating Mojang accounts to Microsoft? I am not sure.
