I miss the feature to batch convert, like all selected videos or all videos in a folder (optional including all subfolders).

You mean select multiple videos and convert all of them to the same format ?

Exactly.

Okay, I add this feature to my todo list.

Just curious. Is this still be considered being added to the features for the video converter. I think this would be awesome and many people would like to use it.

  • Select multiple videos that would be converted to the same format and quality
  • Videos that are selected should be added to a queue
  • Notifications of video conversions completed
  • Ability to directly overwrite a video file if conversion had completed successfully

These features would make this a much more complete application but I do understand it would take some considerable work. @PaulLereverend What do you think about this?

I'd also like to see this feature. I convert a lot of short .mov videos from iOS and this would save so much time.

@PaulLereverend are you looking for help with pull requests for this feature of batch converting? I have a lot of experience with ffmpeg, not as much with nextcloud, but I'm willing to help with this if you would accept good code...?

Also I'd be interested in giving you a pull request that would automatically encode specific file types after they are uploaded.
