Make it so you can just clone dotfiles in to your home directory #13

Rather than maintaining a repo of your dotfiles which isn't actively used, make it so they can simply be clone to your home directory and actively maintain them from there.

The settings inlcude longer history and the welcome message turned off.

This modification was made so the ignore everything by default does not carry
over the other git repositoryis contained within subdirectories.
