This repo contains all exploratory research work and prototyping for inclusion in IPFS. The meeting-notes folder contains notes from relevant calls and meetings, while the open-problems folder includes a list of very brief open problem statements that are to be expanded into thoroughly well-defined open problem statements.

In general, research ideas start in protocol/research; please refer to that repo's README.md for a description of other research repositories. The aforementioned research repos are mostly centers for discussion; however, new research repos should generally be created with a well-defined project or goal.
